About us

Understanding grows with context.

People evolve. Their needs, routines, and circumstances change. We believe technology should be able to grow with that context.

Everyday experiences are easy to remember in fragments. Seeing how they connect over time is harder.

Averun connects language technology with insights from psychology, cognitive science, and human behaviour to develop tools that help people understand their everyday experiences. We turn personal observations into clearer context, supporting reflection, informed conversations, and a deeper understanding of individual needs over time.

We believe useful technology should make its reasoning understandable, acknowledge uncertainty, and give people control over what they record and share. Our approach centres on plain language, accessible interactions, and observations grounded in the information people choose to provide.

Founded by Alexandra Ciobotaru and Diana Hoefels, Averun is an early-stage venture built around a simple idea: understanding develops over time, and technology should support that continuity.
